Default Strange front brake pics?
I installed my strange front brakes but had to remove alot of material from the lower a-arm.I feel like I weaken the a-arms to much.Do any of you guys have pics of how much you cut off your stock lower a-arms.

Mine were the same way untill I went to bmr stuff. I did alot of street driving and it was fine.

Really.It doesn't look very strong.
Are the BMRs a direct fit or do you have to grind them too?

I like how in the instructions it says take a 1/4 inch off.

the bmr control arms are round in the front by the ball joint so they fit fine. I went threw the same thing but if you think about it you have alot of strength in the sides and the back around the ball joint.

I put UMI LCA on mine, and had to shave just a hair on the bottom side of the LCA. I did not like the thought of not having much metal around the ball joint and it pulling or pushing out.

I sell a modified a arm just for the Strange setup, no extra cost just need to give me a call to order. We cut a relief in the lower ball joint cup to make sure there is no interference issue with the brake disk.
