Car won't launch, please help
Alright guys. I have a 98 ta. Mods in sig. Best time so far is a 12.2@110. That is with the 17's all the way around and a full tank of gas. Also had standard ACDelco plugs in it. Best 60' was 1.739.
Today I head out. Changes since last time. I added Patriot dual springs, NGK TR6 plugs, pulled the front sway bar and was running on Weld 15x3.5" Prostars. Best 60' today, 1.779. Best e.t, 12.368 @110.
No matter what I do this car just doesn't leave as hard as I think it should. Foot braking it netted the best time today, but I feel like something is wrong. Also last time out, the est. da was 709, today, it was 1980 and the corrected et was 12.09@112. Where as the first time's out corrected et was 12.1@110.

Throw an LS6 intake on there for an easy tenth and a mph first off.
Is the car spinning? Have to isolate whether the car is not (a) leaving hard or (b) you can't hook the power.

Wait you added patriot springs without adding a cam? I figure that would kill performance (although looks like you gained mph) Thats definitely overkill for a stock cam... I could be wrong though!

to the OP, what gear 2.73 or 3.23? what race weight? Get some rear pro stars with some good tires, get an intake, port the tb, get a pulley, get some suspension. If you're staying NA, basically your stall and gear are too small. For your mods, assuming a full weight car, Nittos, and the DA those times (including 60') are decent.

Sorry I left out what gear. Its a 3.73. With a 1/4 tank of fuel, it weighed 3215.
I had a guy watch for me, and he said it would barely spin them(rolling over about one turn). The guy I had watching said it was hanging the front at full droop.
The one time it did hook and launch hard, it started wheel hopping. I feel its just not leaving as hard as it should, like it doesn't have enough gear. I do plan on spraying it later in the year and that's why I went with the converter I did.
