It helps to remove as much weight as possible from the nose of the car. Front bumper support, swaybar, wiper fluid reservoir, relocate battery, remove a/c stuff, blah blah blah.
And if all you want is a wheelie, throw 200-250 lbs of sand in the rear well.

To get the car to wheelie you want to lighten the front, setup the suspension so it hits the tire hard, have the shocks and springs up front so that the spring and shock rates allow the front to react and rise as quickly and as much as possible.
Adding more gear helps, slicks or drag radials, you'll need a certain amount of power, n20 works great to get a quick increase in torque on the launch.

woah i thought it was always the opposite way around, let the front travel alot, so it starts to lift the car while the tires are still on the ground, and it has so much upward momentum that when the springs run out it just yanks the tires right up.... Because prostockers have it hit the tire very very hard like very little travel to keep the front end down.
