Default 12 Moser Axel problems

So i descided to upgrade my axle to some gun drilled flaged end to save some weight . I pressed on my new backing plates for my aerospace brakes go to put my axels in and they go in extreamly hard even duble checked to make shure they where 33 spline thats how hard they went it. my old ones go right in and out. now i got one side done and i have to take out the one axel and can not get it to move at all with the slide hammer..... ANY IDEAS?????

moser 12-bolt axles have 2-different spline pitches. it is all according to what the axle was originally ordered with.

when i ordered a different spool for my rearend i was looking at the spline pitch and noticed the difference. i called moser and they confirmed that they do have 2-differnet spline pitches. i ended up having to send the moser spool back and had to order a strange and it was a perfect fit for the axles i had. and yes they were moser axles and the strange spool meshed perfect.

look at the spline pitch. you should be able to tell a difference

well, more than likely they sent you the right axles.

maybe your old axles had a different spline pitch than your spool/locker/carrier

make sure the axle has no burs on it.
