I made it to the finals! Finally
I had to go 9 rounds to make it there.

In the final I ran a .529 light and ran a 7.415 on a 7.42. The other guy ran a .507 and a 6.96 on a 6.95. :p
We finally got the 1969 to run the number. We used an old S/E trick. We took the top radator hose off and ran cool water thru it to cool it down each round. It worked like a charm.

Man was it great to finally go rounds again.

Andrew, it was very cool to meet you and your Dad.

Saturday, I have another big points race at Lone Star Raceway(Sealy, TX). Now, Iam ready to go win some more money.
Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Coach
Was the prize money winner take all?
Last weekend, in the semi-finals, the guy I was racing got me on a hole shot. I was closer to my dial in but he had a .506 light I had like a .525 It was a close race, I lose by a few thousands =(
Good luck next week!

Tom
Good to finally meet you too. Hopefully you can make it back up to TAD in the Hot Rod some time.
-Andrew
Thanks, I hope you get to run soon.

Lee,
We didn't split the money. Winner gets $1,000.00, runner up $300.00. Good luck to ya also.

Tom,
Thanks, Good luck this weekend also.

Andrew,
I will be up there as soon as we get the Hot Rod back together.

Coach
Can't wait to see the new and improved Z
This was one of the weekends I should have stayed home
The only thing good was I didn't brake anything. But like you said before Coach "a bad day drag racing is better than a good day working" (or IMO about anything else).
How many of you sleep at the track in the back of your tow vehicle, just because you love racing? ME! To do that and than cut a **** light and throw it all away stinks.
Oh well there is always next time.

I was .540 and 1 over. Kinda mad at myself b/c I had gone 513 and 508 in time runs and 520s in the first 2 rounds.either way, good job man! Get the hot rod back and start winning with your own car again! :p
