drag only, lil bit of street here and there.
car rides on weld 2.0's, so i dont do any sort of cornering.

seen a few posts where people talked about removing them.
in the air about it.
its a few pounds to save.

you can take it out. I've had mine out for a while. I will however, eventually have that mount braced up a little bit.

Unless you need to remove it for exhaust clearance, it's really only 5 lbs, not gonna make a huge differnence.

when there is nothing left to do, at least i can get rid of 5lbs.
switching to coilovers in the front, and also going to a manual pinto rack to save a few punds.
we will see how it turns out. ive heard on the 3rd gens its 40~ish pounds getting rid of the box, and all the associated steering.
