Fuel Cell Help!
I need help with a rule clarification regarding the firewall etc.
I have my fuel cell mounted where the t-top compartment was (cut through the sheetmetal floor). I have an aluminum box that covers the opening so its sealed.
Now the questions is in regards to a fill cap. Can I cut a hole in the top of the box (cover) for the fill spout and use a metal fill cap or must that be behind the firewall too? It just seems like with the cap on there and the hole around the spout minimized, it wouldn't be such a fire danger, but I don't know.
Something like this I was thinking...

Or maybe a little trap door???
It would be alot easier to just bolt the box down then have to fabricate something to make it quickly removable and seal really good at the same time.
