First trip to the track. Made my 1st runs with the car yesterday at Great Lakes:
Temp about 80 dropping to about 75- VERY HUMID. turning overcast (low baro pressure).
Best run 12.39 @ 109.7 MPH on a 1.77 60'
not good, not horrible.
This is with my crappy 2:73 gears, I'm hoping for 11's with a deeper gear to put the cam in the powerband at the top end (I was at 4800 rpm through the lights).
Interestingly, many other LS1's there- trapping at 100-104 mph!? - I guess from the humidity. and low pressure
