What Coolant?

What cooant is everyone using? I have a new LSX 427 turbo setup I'm putting in and was wondering if Evans coolant was the way to go? I read somewhere not to use it with an EWP and I want to keep mine, anyone know if this is true?

Also, any advantage to going with a low pressure system?

I use water and a few bottles of Redline Water Wetter. If you dragrace your not supposed to use any type of antifreeze at the dragstrip and being in Cali it probably doesn't get down into the 30*s much anyway.

Last yea I used just water and the temp didnt go above 185 but this year I will try some water wetter in there also

Yeah, water is the best coolant anyway in a high pressure system, but I have an iron block and don't want the block rusting and radiator coroding. I usually do a 70/30 mix water/antifreeze around here just to keep the corosion down. does the water wetter have any corosion benefits?

I've heard Water Wetter helps avoid corrosion. Royal Purple also makes something similar called "Purple Ice" that works very good and it states on the bottle that it helps prevent corrosion.

i use that royal purple additive its like 5 bucks at napa but that water wetter works 2 do we use it in our heavy diesel equipment.

Alright, sounds good to me. did a little research and seems straight water + water wetter works very well, runs much cooler than water/antifreeze mix.
