Line lock install problem
I was installing a TCI roll stop line lock kit today and I am having trouble getting the brakes to hold.
The only way the front brakes will stay locked is if I keep the micro switch held down. As soon as I release the button the front wheels will turn.
I was also wondering if this switch setup is NHRA legal. Is the switch I have considered to be a momentary switch?
Thanks in advance,
Dave Hounsell
Maybe I'm missing the ?? Sounds like you answered it yourself. The switch that comes with a kit is always momentary.
The tires will roll when released.
I set mine by pumping 3 times holding the pedal & holding the switch. I have seen some guys not push hard enough before switching on. Which lets the tire roll. Sorry if I'm not getting it.

You are correct! After doing a bit more searching I figured out that the button needs to be depressed and held. I always thought that the momentary switch would give you a few seconds to do a burnout and then release without having to be held. Live and learn I guess. I feel pretty stupid!!
