Default Questions fitting 325/50R15s

1. How much clearance do I need? I've "adjusted" things so I at least get my fingers between the tire & the inner fender well all around. Tightest area was in front of the tire at the bottom of the car.

2. This is a stock width rear on 9.75in wheels/standard backspace & the tires stick out past the fenders about 1/2-3/4 inch. Car is not lowered so there's a few inches gap above the tires, I assume I need to "roll' the openings so the lip won't cut the tire if it contacts. Any tips on how it's done?

I didn't have to roll the lips on my fenders. I had enough clearance. And as far as the inner section I can get one finger around the tire in any spot. In some I can get more the one finger. One thing to look for is clearance for your LCAs. Make sure you didn't bang anything in the way of their movement.

Thanks, it looks like as long as I'm only on the track it'll be OK, I'll check the LCA movement.

i have 325's on a 10 inch weld and i didn't use spacers but i had the fenders hammered out so they would fit. i didn't have to roll the fenders either.

Do the tires extend past the fenders at all? That's 2 votes for not rolling the fenders, I'm scared of damaging the tires on the 1st launch. It really doesn't squat too much so I'll probably try it.
