I decided last minute to head to Byron on Saturday morning to make a few runs.I already had the slicks and skinnies on so the car was ready.
I get there at 9 a.m,and do a quick plug change.
The winds were horrible.The track was only running 1/8 mile. (17+ mph head wind)They finally allowed the T&T guy/girls run 1/4.
The weather was not good so i did not expect any new best
The DA at 12 was +3000 and temp was 84 and humidity 65%
I made a few N/A passes and the best i could go was
11.52 @ 117 w/1.67 60ft (1.58 last weekend)
and then my best of 2 spray runs was
10.22 @ 132 w/ 1.47 60ft. (1.38 last weekend)
I was down roughly 4 mph all day
The car was spinning and still pulling both fronts 6"
I then put some air in the tires and headed home.
so i am more then happy to run a low 10 sec. pass with traction issues and bad weather and still drive home and go out cruising the rest of the night with no issues
I can't wait to get some nice weather and turn things up a bit.
