Coulda beat a 97 Viper I went to the track last Friday (Pacific Raceways by Seattle). I got real excited when I saw a pretty blue Viper roll up behind me in the staging lanes. I talked to him...was thinking about asking him to run, but it was his 1st time out. So I left it alone.
I should have raced him. He turned a miserable 13.8 his first run. I turned a 13.08. The stock blue 03 Cobra (w/K&N) behind him turned a 12.9. Either would have been more fun than the 18 second BMW I trashed!
Sigh....at lesat it made not getting into the 12s easier to take!

Re: Coulda beat a 97 Viper Anyone can beat a lousy driver. You would't come close with anyone that could even 1/2 drive that car right. My 98 Viper RT/10 ran 11.90s all day long with just a catback and a filter.
