Not worried about it though, my new motor costs as much as my car did and it was not cheap and I am getting a deal on it since it has some passes and is coming from a local friend. I know Ill have way way over 10k in chassis and cage...
I assume you can run X door bars and keep the factory door arm rests and I assume you can keep the third gen center console?

but I don't have it yet. A friend owns it who will put a few runs on it this season then sell it to me.
540, 14.1, big cam, BIG shot........ Will have a glide and spooled Fab 9 behined it with most likley MT 295 radials. Going to shoot for 1.2X 60's...
If I can't sell my old motor and tranny I may keep it for when my fiance wants to build a 57 Chevy for her.
