T-Tops
I've driven 145 with my t-tops off 
I think it will go faster with them on. I don't think there is a rule you can't run without them, but I would guess you'd have to have the same safety equipment as the topless cars/roadsters.
My friend had a Ferrari roadster like a 60's something and he has arm restraints and a funny car cage. Needless to say it had no roof at all, so I don't see why you couldn't go down the track without them, but still it will most likely go slower.

i didnt think you were suppose to go over like 110 with the tops out or the windows down. i heard it wasnt the best thing for the back hatch. but im not sure. just what ive heard

I'm racing on the street..so there are no "track rules" obviously, i was just more interested in finding any specs/info on runnin w/o the top. i though the wind coming into the car and into the back glass could potentially slow it down so i didn't wanna run w/o them. Thanx for the replies tho
