I have read that Harlan doesn't have the best customer service either. Anyone running the light from raptor performance.

I have the Raptor one....no issues with mine whatsoever. http://www.raptorperformance.com/
In my opinion it's easier to change the rpm settings than the Harlan. The only negative I can see is that it costs a little more but it arrives to your house in less than a week after ordering it.

Re: Need ideas for a shift light???
I run a msd shift light. Works well, I just plug in the rpm pill of my choice. I have it run off my msd 6al, and got the small one, so I drilled a hole and mounted in dash where no one can see except me. Really nice looking and working.
