Should I get slicks?

I dont run that fast 12.65 with worn out DRs. When I get to the strip I switch out tires so I dont really care to much about driving to the track with the tires and running my time(I do drive to the track though). The only downside is not being able to run the street classes and having to run the VERY competitive classes. What is everyones opinion on this subject?

If you swap the tires when you go to the track and don't drive on them on the street, run the very best tire you can for your setup.

I agree with Ragen's statement, but if the car will hook on drag radials why not run them? The car will likely run a tad quicker due to the radial's construction versus a slick, and as mentioned it opens up your class choice.
