how to remove e-brake shoe?

Default how to remove e-brake shoe?

how do I remove the e-brake shoe/drum thing on the back of the rear? need to remove it so I can acess the bolts to pull the axles have a moser 9 inch.

Take a prybar and pop the shoe out the top.

Mine just pull right off with little effort. I'm actually tightening mine today. Make sure when you put the rotors back on, the e-pads are centered and the top is between the backing plate and the little ear to keep it stable.

Do the axles have a hole next to one of the studs so you can spin it and access all the bolts. I know my 12 bolt does.

no, thats for abs cars. I drilled one however so I can replace them in the future.
