looking for tires for the 1/4 time 98 ls1 6 speed camaro 401 rwhp w/381fpt what type of tires do i need i would like to put them on my 18's aslo will my factory rear end hold up to drag ra

big cam not sure what it is

im confused... above you said vengence racing vrx5 camshaft kit230/232 then you say big cam not sure what it is
to answer the ? your best bet if you want to stay drag radials mickey thompson et streets and the factory rear will probably break as most do but there have been some very lucky people who put extreme power to the ground with them and get away with it

Both nitto and mickey thompson make a good 18'' drag radial i would recc that you go with the MT et street radial, there especially made for vettes vipers and mustang they hook pretty descent!The nitto's hook better on the street then at the track from expirience you have to get them really hot at the track and run them at like 12psi to make them stick!
