Can I leave this unplugged...

It used to plug into the little port on the side of the intake (i'm assuming it pulled vacuum), but there's obviously no port on the new intake for it, and what the hell does it even do, do I need to get vacuum to it, or can I just leave it sittin there? Thanks for any help guys!

The black piece right in the middle that comes off the stock fuel line that usually plugs into the intake, but the new carb style intake doesn't have a place to plug it in obviously.

it is part of the evap ? i see what you are talking about . might find your answer in the evap relocation . there is a thread on it somewhere .

It's for the evap system. You can pull all of that stuff. Your garage will probably end up smelling like gas though

I"m gonna unhook my evap at the back where it connects to the as tank, if I don't smell gas in a day or 2 the entire thing is coming out out of my car.

I've got a fuel system as my winter project, along with freshening the motor and tranny up.

But for now, the evap is the next thing I want to rip off, just clutter that does nothing.
