tire/rim combos
I was looking at running the gred weld 15x10 with a 7.5 backspaceing whenever they make it, and run the 17x4 or wider rim up front so I can drive it on the street a little more safely.
What would I be loosing et wise going this route? or should I just go 15's all the way around?
I am hoping that my car will be making around 600-700 when I put the rims and tires on.
I've had a 165-15 on mine for years daily driving it without any issues, they also make other slightly bigger tires with a higher weight rating. I would vote to run 15's front and rear, as long as you keep the right amount of air in the tires and drive it normally on the street you shouldn't have any issues.
In the last 10 years I haven't had any problem running 15's on my Camaro.
