Question 28x11.50x16 ???

i didn't get any responses in the wheel and tire section so i thought i would post up here.i picked up 2 28x11.50x16 et streets. i was told that these tires would fit but all they ended up doing was jacking up my quarter panel. are there any modifications that need to be done to run this tire? the lips are now rolled thanks to the tire. so that is ruled out. i have bmr springs and i was thinking about putting the stock springs on to give me a little more ride height. my question with that is aren't the stock springs much softer making the tire still go into the quarter panel on a hard launch? does anyone have a pic with this size tire on there car so i can have a peek at it. thanks for the help.

I have ET streets in that size, and they dont rub anywhere. Im at stock ride height though. I also have adj. lca's and adj panhard bar so I could center everything up.

i also have adj. panhard and lca's. everything is centered. i am thinking that i need to take the bmr springs out and put my stockers back in. i just don't know if a hard launch on the softer springs is going to send the tire into the quarter panel. did you have to trim the bumper or anything else? i am not sure how much these tires grow and i only have around 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch in front and behind the tire.

They might. I guess if no one posts up with some experience on that, there is only one way to find out. All I know is I don't have rubbing issues with the 28" tire, and I am on stock springs. All I had to do is adjust the suspension and remove the bumpstops.
