what plugs are you running? Not farmiliar with those #'s and the case that you buy, how many are in it?

I run an autolite AR3933 plug, and they're usually about 2.7x a piece depending on where I get them. But with my setup a set usually gets me thru the day no problems.

I am still using stock heads.

AR94 is a projected heat range 7
AR93 is a projected Heat Range 9

AR474 is a NON-projected Heat Range 7
AR473 in a NON-projected Heat Range 8

I was using the Projected plugs and they were working well on the track and street but everyone keeps saying to use the NON-projected plugs so I am trying them

I think I paid $2.49Ea for a dozen AR474s today local. Always looking for a good hook up. Still dailing every thing in.

Hell between Fuel and Plug My wife is going to have a cow when I have to call Madman and order a new set of 325s

I wanna put a set of 325/50's on my car, but with the problems I've had getting the car to leave on the 28x10.5S et drag (no limiters = goes on the bumper, limiters = spins for a foot then goes) I dunno if the car's close enough to work with the radial yet.

Last year i tried a set of goodyear radials, couldn't leave off the transbrake AT ALL, had to run off the footbrake, and went decently fast doing so, but now with the nitrous, I dunno if it's set up good enough yet.

Sucks, because I have a race that's coming that's 5 grand to win that requires radials, and another race that if I had DOT tires on the car I could ener a different class that I'd probably really crack some skulls in, but I am really a little shaky about putting a set on right now.

That, plus I'd have a good bit of cutting/work to do to get the 325/50 radial on the car, which is the least of my concern at this point.

Thanks Madman.

JL, you guys shuld try the NGK 9's or 10's they are alot easier to read and may save the motor if you make a mistake in the tune.

I was on the NGK's #9 initially and was able to get the tuneup pretty close, still a touch on the rich side (I know that can be as bad as too lean, but I'm talking the a/f is in the mid to low 11's) then I went to the autolite plug.

The autolite plug is alot tougher you're right, but they'll go a whole day and run good, and they don't seem to foul out as bad. I've read them and they real pretty much the same as the NGK does, but it takes a good 2 runs to get a heat mark on the strap unlike the NGK that I can read after one pass.

I'm still on such a small shot, that to hurt something I'd have to be WAY out in left field with something, until the fogger goes on I am pretty safe as it sits right now.

I need new M/T street radials. If I didn't want to wait for them to get around to making more 255/50/16's then what size rims do I need to buy to use a 15" tire?
