Default Help with Torque Arm Decision

I'm trying to decide on which torque arm to put on my F-body. I have a choice of either the Spohn unit or the BMR trak pak. The car has M6/heads/cam/intake/4.10s/15x10 draglites/26x11.5x15 ET Streets/100 shot/Dennys 3.5"(?) HD Aluminum driveshaft. I haven't had a chance to get any good runs on the setup, but I'm concerned with durability and weight, along with cost. I plan on keeping my car near factory weight.

I plan on using a torque arm that mounts to a crossmember, instead of the tailshaft. Any information would help. Thanks,
Wes

Given those two choices, I like the BMR piece much better...

I'd still take my Madman torque arm above any others, though...

The BMR Trak Pak is good. Installation is quite a task though. You also loose some ground clearance. On my car I do not have clearance for a 3.5" with the Trak Pak.

George, I like the MADMAN unit as well, but it's a little overkill for my car, I believe.

Thanks for all the responses. Do any of you Trak Pak guys run a 3.5" shaft?

Let's hear some words on the Spohn unit, will it clear a 3.5" shaft?

Thanks

It's more a matter of how you install it to whether it will clear. You will prolly just have to shortne a couple of bolts and "massage" the tranny tunnel with a mallet.
