are you getting the tires hot and sticky? You launch/traction seems to be your big problem to me.

ah...I had the same problem....pull out of the water box to do your burnout.

I have BFG DRs and was doing a big ol' burnout in the water box, and then would go light them up on a 2500 launch. then I asked for some advise on here, and was told not to do a burnout in the water box. So the next time I went to the track I just back into the water box, spun out of the water box (just got the tires wet) and then did my burnout ahead of the waterbox. Launched at 4000 with little to no tire spin (I think that's all the clutch could take). Also, you might need line lock to help you.
