Default PCV System

I need to do away with the stock PCV system and do something that doesn't shoot the oil back in this motor. Any advice would be great especially with pics!

my set-up is similar but since i had room with the victor jr, i drilled and tapped the valley cover.

i kept part of my pcv system that is in the back . i plugged the hole in the y on the back so that it is open to the hose from the driver and passenger side valve covers . then put a cap on the front of the passenger side valve cover , cap on intake manifold and tb , and a breather that has been modifed for the oil cap .

I did the samething when I had my Victor Jr. setup. How fast does your breather tank fill with oil? I welded a bung in almost the same postion as your picture and the slinging of oil from the camshaft filled the tank up in only about 3 or 4 passes at the track. Also, were are you drawing fresh air from? I'm needing to update my pcv system on my new setup because it is puking oil all over the engine bay.

Here is another option http://www.saikoumichi.com/

I put them on my car (not a GM!). I have the stock PCV valve, with a hose running to one catch can, then to the intake manifold. Then I have the breather hose running to the other catch can, then to the intake pipe.

These are really nice catch cans, they have a mesh inside to trap the oil. They should keep all oil vapor from getting sucked into the intake manifold, while retaining a stock style crankcase evacuation system that actually pulls vapors from the CC under WOT. Plus, keeps oil mist off the engine.
