bias ply on back and radials in front
some say very minimal lane walk
and some say, put a tube in it and it doesn't have a problem
any body with personal experience?
thanks in advance
I think that it mostly depends on how much air you're running in the rears, and your suspension setup.
Mine would always "wag" the rear end a little bit going through the traps, but nothing uncontrollable, unless you overcorrect or something. I always just held the wheel straight and the car went straight.
Best thing for you to do would be to have a little more air in the Bias-Plys to begin with, then let some air out until you feel comfortable with them.
Oh, and don't try to take turns sharp.
i would wiggle a little on the big end when i let off at the lights but nothin to scary.
Just make sure like Doubt it said more air pressure is better to start.
i would say that my current combo of a bias ply up front and a radial out back drives a lil hairy compared to the combo you are referring.
done it for years.... some setups are worse than others walking around. the road has a lot to do with it as well.
