TH350 trans guys need some help here
When I had the 408 I ran 4:10's N/A w/ 28" slicks and it was good. My converter is also around 4000 stall. I also ran the same set up with the 325 50 DR's which don't grow and it was fine with those as well.
How much power are you making?
Reason I ask is because the more power you make depending on the set up you may need less gear.
In my case I went from 28" slicks and 4:10 gears with the 408 to
to 30" slicks and 3:73 gears with the 441.
My car is N/a.
It acts weird in the top of 3rd at about 5500, almost like it's slipping but I don't think it is slipping. What does it feel like when you blow through a converter? I thought this couldn't happen unless you were using a power adder
I'd call the vender of the converter and see what they say about it.
