Default Burkhart A-arms

Does anyone have info on these?

I am looking for a set of Lower A-arms, and interested in these, but there is a note on te web site that they need aftermaket shocks...

What shocks are needed? is it a mounting thing or length?

I run QA1's up front now, would they be OK?

Thanks...

its a mounting thing... basicall tap out the metal rod that goes through the bottom of the shock.... all you will need is to put some sort of bushing inside the bottom and a 1/2 grade 8 bolt....

Is there a certain bushing? or would I have to take it to a machine shop or something to figure out?

so essentially I would just need something in there to take up the slack/distance between the 1/2" bolt and the wall of the shock... hell, I can do that...

We sell the conversion kit for the QA1 shocks. You ust need to pull out the T Bar and run the Bearing Kit for the QA1s. We can supply that with the A Arm order.

Well even better, thanks Steve...

BTW, What's the price for the conversion kit?

I will be placing the order in the next week or 2, and just trying to figure out the money needed...

It's about 25.00 for the bushings, snap rings and bolts.

I have set, and converted my QA1 to a bearing kit that I got from Burkhart. These are by far the nicest A-arm on the market.

I've got them on m car and they are great...

I just wish they came with the limiter brackets welded on already so i didn't have to grind off the powdercoat.

My order has been placed, and Chuck said he had a set of A-arms in stock so they should ship out shortly. BTW, the bearing kit was $35 but still not too bad considering the price of the competitors stock replacement arms and these should be lighter if not nicer knowing Chuck's work...

I also grabbed the firewall support for the MC that I got a few weeks ago and forgot to order. For the record, Burkhart Chasis is a damn good company to work with...

I would love to get the K-member, but I don't think I am ready for a motor plate just yet. Although it would be funny going through tech with a cage (if I get down below 11.50's) and motor plated engine and tell them I have a basically stock LT1, LOL...
