Thanks Tony, Weight reduction is not my goal at this time. I want to get the car running as fast as I can get it to go at the current race weight.

The only weight reduction I will do at this time is the Strange brakes. Man PRP has a short shut down and I really have a hard time stopping with the stock brakes. The gears helped abit in that area too.

In a month or 2 I'll strip the car down and get my IHRA or NHRA compitition licence then put the weight back in for the TR shootout.

Thanks again everyone. Its great to be back.

Tom,

Congrats on those times. Your car is really flying for that raceweight

We are finishing up your TB as we speak. It will be sent out later this afternoon. You have some solid 9 second timeslips coming your way.

I can't imagine what your car would run at 3000 lbs!

He added a 75 lb iron block for starters?

Great times Tom, I'm guessing you are running a high compression SR iron block...

Terry Tom is just right for Modified Stock at the Thunder Shootout. He will have to weigh 3500lb.
At No Problem he will probably need the added weight on the front to hold it down.

Thanks Matt, I'll be waiting man.

JS, Sorry man but Big Mike is my designated son. lol I'll put you on the waiting list. lol

Thanks Terry, I'm not sure what my race weight used to be but I had the car weighed on a 4 point digital scale and the car weighs 3170 now. This winter I took out a 6 point steel roll bar and put in a 12 point C/M cage. Possibly an even swap with the weight there. I took out an aluminum block and installed an iron block "gained 75 lbs?" I took out the heater core and all duct work 25 lbs? all sound deadning on the tranny tunnel and fire wall. 10 lbs? ABS is gone 7 or 8 lbs?, power brake booster is gone 9lbs ? 2 speed power glide is a little lighter. I still have the power steering rack too. Got to get rid of that thing one of these days.

Thanks Mikey, I can't wait to see how the TCS converter works. I would like to attend the MIR event. We'll see. Thanks for the invite.

Thanks Jason, it does make up for all the down time "SORTA" but I still have nightmares

Thanks PSJ, the compression is about 12.9 to 1. What is SR?

Mark, your on the dependent list already I should get a FIT refund this year for a change.

Mike, your grounded for going faster than me so you can't drive the car man. Sorry. Slow your car down so I don't look so bad.

Joe, It will be alot easier to add 80 lbs than to get rid of 220 lbs. I'll probably run in the modified class but you never know. Pro Stock class sounds like fun too.

Thanks Scott

Thanks Vince
