HELP & ADVICE Wanted Had enough of spec in sig so going LSX454/Glide/9" rear.
Motor will use MSD MEFI5 with 5 wire hook up.
Have any of you out there got a similar set up?
Will I leave my stock PCM in for working lights/windows etc
Is there a mechanical to eletrical device out there to connect VSS in the Glide box.
Any info help appreciated, this is peckin my head.

I got 1 answer maybe..
About the speedo thing, i think you can do what most people do with th400, and th350.
They hook up the wires that go to the vss on a the t56 or 4l60 that was in the car to the front wheel sensor. If you were a4 enter 1.175 in hp tuners as gear ration, then enter tire height. If you were t56 enter 2.76 as gear ratio and enter tire height.

Motor will make 800/850hp what gear ratios does anyone recommend for glide and rear end with 26" tall slicks to get best et/speed???

Kinda tough to say exactly what gear. How high are you spinning your motor.
Im guessing not super high. If you go to 6400 a 3.25 gear in the rear with a 26 inch tall will do about 152 @ 6400 rpms.
3.50 gear would hit about 141 @ 6400 rpms.
3.0 gear would hit about 165 @ 6400 rpms.
These are rough calcs, and im guessing you will spin to 6400. Kinda hard to say what you will trap, but i would guess 140+ for sure. Good luck, Chris
