borrowed a wideband and holy ****...

I installed my buddy's wideband in my car today to see what the a/f is wow is all i can say. under wot its nice and lean at a 16.9:1 so after an hour or so of tuning shes screeming to a nicer 13.1:1 plus or minus...time to hit the track again to see if i can improve upon that last run of 13.7.....

when was the last time the wideband was calibrated? what do the spark plugs look like?

i calibrated it before putting it in. sure enough at idle(stock tune) it was staying between 14.7-14.9 which is what the ecm trys to keep it at so i know its correct it hasnet been used much as my buddies car(73 procharged,prostreet duster) has been down for year and doesnt see much run time so the wideband has very low miles....and the spark plugs were just changed. the old ones were very light brown and white... my 02(narrowband) readings before tuning were hittin .045 at WOT now they are around 860...

it was stock a/f tune i changed other things but my laptop from work crashed and i lost everything. so i had to dl a stock tune file from holden.com for a 2000 a4 ws6 then start from scratch....

so i didnt make it to the track tonight but most likely fri.... so just to get an idea i went out to do some runs with my tazzo meter. before the tuning a week ago i went 14.0@99 with a 2.0 60ft tonight,same road i did 13.38@104 with a 2.09 60 ft so now i have a good baseline and will hopefully get close to that or better when i hit the track...
