Re: Paint cracking with !bumper support I've seen it on a friend's car. Happened along the top edge of the nose, just below the hood line. Bumper support was removed for 1-2 years, car was driven and raced frequently.
I plan to put a 'stabilizing bracket' in the nose of my car... Re-use the styrofoam insert, but a small bracket instead of a bumper.
