Dragged a 2003 cobra conv with a 2001 SS conv. We ran two different weekends at the drag strip.
My camaro has a 3000 stall torque and ET Streets with the free mods and lid.
The cobra was stock
The first weekend my best was 8.2 in the eighth
The cobra was 8.8 and had wheel spin
The guy kept bragging and went out and bought a set of bfg drag radials and reduced his time on the next weekend to 8.35 still 1.5 seconds behind the SS now he want's to get more on the blower with a bigger pulley what do you all think is this kind of normal.

Re: Dragged a 2003 cobra conv with a 2001 SS conv. That is a close race, if he gets ET Streets also or hooks his car, you are going to get beat. He is a manual car having to shift, you are an auto with a stall...

I only have a lid right now but have a 224/224/.581/.581/114lsa,LTs, SS3600, and TNT kit on order... what the hell would that do to shut him the hell up!
