Default Wolfe upper spring perches

Do I use the stock spring centerline or cut 1 inch off and move them 1 inch towards the rear? I have 12" 170lb qA1 SPRINGS and they have a 'S' shape when installed at the stock centerline at ride height. Is this OK? They are straight (at a angle) when at full droop. Thank you!

Mine I had to fit to the car

I installed them in the stock location and the spring did not line up. So I tacked welded them in and fit everything first before welding them all the way.

On my install the Wolfe Spring Perch is moved to the back of the car and also moved out

we get the rear end square side to side and front to back (best we can w/out tires on the car) first. This is done while the rear end is on jack stands @ or close to ride height. Then, after lowering the rear end back down, we put the springs on the lower perch and the Wolfe relocates on top of the spring. I usually make a 4 1/2" x 5" plate out of 1/8" plate. That's goes on top of the perch for added strength. Then we jack the rear end back up until everything is touching on top. From there we tack weld the upper perch to the plate and remove to fully weld. repeat process to get the plate/perch assy. back into place and weld the plate to the body. little more time consuming, but better in the long run.
