Default PCV question?

Does anyone use anything like this?:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I currently have an inline filter (air/oil seperator) in my pcv system but I was thinking of eliminatig it all together for a system like this. I've been told it can free up some more power. Is there any negative impact on this type of setup or is the "drag race use only" disclaimer for emissions?

Thanks,

Josh

Emissions has nothing to do with it. The system is intended for use on open headers, and at hi rpm. [Venturi effect across the end of the tubes.] Not something you'd want on a street engine w/ an exhaust system.

OK, my car sees very little street time and doesn't have much of an exhaust system but it's not a high rpm race only engine either. I'll probably just stick with my current system. Thanks
