Lauch Help Ok, so this will be my third time at the track this summer. My best run so far is a 13.8 because I can't 60ft for **** and my car was bone stock. I cut a 2.18 60ft on all-season BFGs at 26psi of pressure. Now my car has a TransGo-HD2 shift kit, B&M trans cooler, and a TCI 3500 stall. I know a good 60ft will be very hard because i am still on the all season tires (245/50/16). what can I do to lower my 60ft time a lil bit? I have a feeling I'm just going to roast them off with the stall, like I do on the street. Only mods performance-wise are a lid and ported TB along with the transmission work. When I go to stage, I only spin the tires real quick to get the stones and road stuff off, no burnout or smoke or anything. Is there a certain PSI i should run my tires at to get my times down? I know my car has 12s in it easy on drag radials, but I want to see how close I can get on these street tires since its pointless to buy drag radials now with winter coming. Any other launch tips are more than welcome. Thanks
i ran my street tires down to 20 psi and did a rolling burnout. then when i staged my car i barley brought it above idle. then ease off the break and at the same time ease on to the gas. dont floor it as soon as it turns green. get moving alittle first. i pulled a 1.90 60ft on 245/50/16 kumhos.. 13.16 @106 hope that helps just keep trying youll get it
