With different cams I'd think the VE table would have to be totally remapped? Timing maps optimized, etc.?

Then I'm done!
Should see high 430s/low 440s. Good luck and got beat the **** outta it

It shouldnt really take many pulls to tune it with those similiar cams. IMO[/QUOTE]
those 2 cams aren't as similar as you think..

I agree with you. I was just talking about AFR. If he just AutoVe, he could generally have it done in a few pulls. Would have took a few more to get it the optimal timing it liked and etc.

I have a couple of questions about your dyno chart.

1. At 3000 RPM's both cams made 188 HP but the X1 had 330 rwtq and fti 325 rwtq.

2. At 3500 RPM's X1 made 238 rwhp at 360 rwtq and fti made 240 rwhp at 360 rwtq.

I know its not that big of a deal just woundering how come the charts don't add up.

chart could be off a few HP because I had to estimate the HP just looking at the graphs, an overlay of the graphs would have been nice but they lost my X1 dyno graph when their hard drive crashed a while back.

remap the VE table? highly doubtful that they even VE tuned your car...most likely took 10-20% out of the 0-1200 portion of your VE for idle purposes and left the rest stock and tuned either the maf or IFR tables for desired fueling for your "dyno tune"...
fueling/airflow WOT from 4000 up is strictly MAF based anyways...your VE table would have no say in calculating airflow...most dynos start at 3000ish...so from 3000-4000 airflow is calculated from MAP/MAF sensor...but he could have fudged the maf table in that portion for desired afr
