With a dry kit you do not need to lower your base timing for a motor tune and a nitrous tune by the timing table. What I normally do with a dry kit car is run the max timing on motor and then use the Air inlet temperature tables to pull timing when the air inlet temp is -20 -50 degrees.
When the nitrous is sprayed the AIT will sense the drop in temperature and then pull timing by that method, thus giving you the best motor performance timing as well as the safety of pulling timing for the bottle.
I've done this on 5+ cars now without any problems.
