As you said.I would raise compression up to at minimum 11.5-1 but would like 11.8-1 .That would make a real nice increase across the whole power curve.

Glad to see one of the big names post up and echo what I have been saying via pm to the OP. His 10.7 to 1 compression is really holding him back. How much would his heads need shaved to achieve the 11.5 or 11.8 to 1 compression, and would have any issues with PTV ???

That 427 should be around 550 rwhp and 510 rwtq once the intake is ported, the heads are milled, and she's retuned. Could possibly make a little more, depending on whether or not the OP adds a ud pully and/or an ewp. Those last 2 boltons would really complete the pkg. Sorry to say this bro, but if you want everything this motor can put out, you are going to have to throw a little more cash at it. Milling, porting, and retune. I say add the ud pully and ewp as well is you got the funds. Why leave anything on the table ?

I'd like to know the for sure measurements on the head gasket, piston dish, deck height, etc to get an idea if it's exactly 10.7:1. A cam change could bring up the dynamic compression alone, but it's hard to say what to go with if everything isn't measured and verified before changing parts. I'd at least clean up the intake and make sure it's matching the heads, etc. Thats easy to do and you don't have to rip the car all apart like some of the other stuff. I'd still be happy with what you have, the torque would make it a nice driver.
