Tr230/224 111
i got a respectable 405hp 415tq with my TR230 self tuned w/ HP tuners.
the tune didnt yield higher peak numbers but brought the TQ in higher and earlier.
it was on a dynocom dyno.
i avg... 313hp and avg... 385tq
sampled from 2500rpm to 6000rpm no more injector
note: i ran out of injector at 5200rpm

Great numbers! That cam is still one of my favorites. FWIW, the TR230 generally gives up nothing to the TR224. That difference is just in the way the dyno is operated (where he hit the gas.)

I think he's just saying that he's seen other results from Lethal and they're STD and not SAE. SAE puts it on all a level playing field so to speak. I wouldn't dyno in 30 degree weather and post up STD results since that's way off of what it would do in 80 degree weather.

I have a bolt on 6 speed car with the same cam. 384 on a mustang dyno.this is through a strange 12 bolt and 4.10 gear. HEAVY PST DRIVESHAFT.On a 90degree day with 40-50% humidity it trapped 116mph. This cam pulls very hard up top.i would love to see what it would do with a good set of heads, until then my stock 853's will have to do.

Actually, those are corrected numbers. If you look in the upper corner, it says STD. Those numbers are corrected to standard temp and pressure. You will see a slight difference between those and SAE correction factors. Sometimes STD numbers will be a little higher, sometimes a little lower. This is a far cry from UNCORRECTED which can be off by a huge amount either way depending on the weather. Some shops insist on using STD correction factors. We use SAE but a shop down the road uses STD.

if your numbers were 406/379, why does the torque peak higher on the dynograph than the hp? I must be missing something here, but it looks more like 406hp/420ish tq??
