dyno results seem low to me

Default dyno results seem low to me

I had my car dynoed last week and have been looking to see if my results are low.

lq4 block (stock)
m6 trans
92/92 fast intake
prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads
tsp 233/239 598/603 cam
pacesetter longtubes and y pipe
edelbrock sdt muffler
slp underdrive crank pulley
4.10 gears

405rwhp/381rwtq on a dynojet

Do these numbers seem low to you? I haven t been to the track yet but the car feels like it is pulling hard.

I don't know anything about thte LQ4 blocks but that seeems really low to me. I figured it would be closer to 450ish

Yes but it doesn't surprise me, but hey im just a labeled hater. I've seen similar results with these heads but didn't know why until the heads were pulled and tested.

Did you mill the heads? Whats the compression ratio? The LQ4 has a 6.7cc dish so you need to cut the heads and put some thinner headgaskets on to get it back up.

I think the compression ratio is about 10.1:1

Take it to the track and your trap speed will give you a better idea of power you're making. Chassis Dynos are mostly tuning tools and should not be solely used to determine power. Weigh your car with you in it (race weight), then run it and based on trap speed that will give you a better idea.
I have had cars dyno 20+ rwhp apart on same brand dynos, on same day.

At your 405rwhp you should be trapping ~115 -> 117mph in a full weight trim

I also had my car dynoed yesterday and was expecting maybe a little more power. I have a 2001 M6 SS with Pacesetter LT's,flowmaster cat-back,ported TB,25% UD pulley,etc.All the usual bolt-on stuff.I installed a Comp Cam 233/239 on a 112 LSA with .595"I/.605"E last week.Yesterday I brought it to get tuned and it put down 376rwhp and 368rwtq.I forgot to mention that I have 4.10 gears and a cut-out. I was expecting the 410's to eat up some power,but I still really thought it would put down at least 390-400 rwhp.The car does pull very hard and it feels really strong,I was just really shocked at the low dyno #'s.As far as driveability goes though,she idles,runs,and drives like a dream.It was tuned at Mike Norris Motorsports and I am 100% confident in his abilities,so I know it's not a case of bad tuner! I think he was even a little surprised at the low #'s.I really do have to commend Mike to how beautifully the car runs though! He really knows his stuff and I can't wait to get the car re-tuned after the head/intake swap.Hats off to Mike @ Norris Motorsports!!!

yeah seeing that my cam only ls1 put down 413whp and ls6 intake and stock TB. You should be 460-470!
