6.0 ms4 ported 243s 431whp Finally got my car fully tuned and dyno...(TAHNKS TO GFORCE!!) 02 camaro m6..6.0, ms4 cam, ported 243 heads, 12 bolt with 4.10s 431wph and 403 lb torque http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjzeUrANcXw http://i27.tinypic.com/16ks8lf.jpg |
nice numbers for sure, and a little more left in it to.what else you got done?? |
Damn, that car's gotta pull hard! Future plans for the car? |
Ya it would pull pretty good If I could get traction I still got the stock 16s with 245s....need to look into some cheap rims here soon...as far as future plans...probably just a fast 92 intake and maybe some spray.. But now that I have the 6.0 I wanna make it a 408 and go from there but that won't be for awhile.. Thanks for the nice replys!! |
Nice numbers. What exactly is a 6.0? Does the ls1 block have to get machined or something? |
im assuming its an lq4 or an lq9, sinec those go for cheap, but it could be an ls2. if its an lq motor, whats your compression? good numbers regardless man. pretty good torque for an MS4 |
its an lq4..And i dont know about the compression.. thanks! |
Not trying to bash your setup but I guess I'm the only one that thinks those numbers seem low for a 6.0, ported 243's, and a huge cam like a MS4. The LQ4 dished pistons must have lowered your compression quite alot, possibly the gears played with the numbers a bit. |
Nice numbers for a car that is most likely a little soft on compression, not to mention the 12-bolt! With some more compression and a FAST intake that car might hit 450rwhp. |
Yep, JUST TOSS A FAST ON IT! |
Good numbers |

Looks like it's not making power as high in the rpm band as that cam should, but I can't really tell because the RPM figure is cut off of the picture (probably a function of low CR) You'll love that cam with the M6 and a good tune. Build the 408, add compression, and it'll pull to the moon. |

nope i agree too the numbers are low...unless he doesnt have full bolt on or something strange... Are those SAE or STD numbers? |
hmm well some people have told me there low some have told me there average...so idk...either way it does the job..and its good enough for me (for now) lol |
I agree with the others. I think those are a little on the low side. |
im still curious if he has other bolt ons...hedders?,intake?,cai?full exhaust? maybe he has manifolds still on it and its holding him back. |

it has... SLP Lid Ported TB All free Mods Stainless Works Long Tube headers Stainless Works Y-pipe DMH cutout where the Y meets togeather.. MS4 cam ported and polished 243s 42lb ford injectors underdrive pulley 12 bolt with 4.10 gears LS6 intake LQ4 6.0 thats all i can think of for now.. |
Well with an LS6 intake and possible less than stellar compression your power looks good. Keep that cam for you stroker build and a killer topend(heads/intake). Work on getting power to the ground and let us kno track results. |
