Hmmm....you'd be suprised what he paid for the intake. Rob is a very good shopper...and I think he's got a little bit of my Jew blood in him somewhere.

At the end of the day, he came up with all the ideas of this build by himself and then proceeded to source all the parts on his own as well. He did have help on the assembly, installation and tuning. But now he is reaping the benefits of a great deal of hard work and effort.

8500, it hadn't peaked at 8k when the fuel was cutoff by the pcm. It's still a full weight street car, but doesn't run pump gas. The harrop ITB intake allows it to idle at only 600rpm and won't even surge down to 1k in gear.

That seems to be the "ANSWER" intake manifold. Car can idle at 600rpm, doesnt' run out of breath above 7000rpm, but the only downside is cost and from what I've read, it's a bear to tune.

Good job guys. I'm guessing there's more about it over on the Hardcore site.

That is impressive as hell. So the car's a full weight car and with less than 600rwhp it runs mid 9s at 144?!

But the part I REALLY like is that it's a 6-speed.

That's a sick car right there! Builds like this give me incentive to stop shooting for more and more power and start improving the setup I have.

Well its making 596rwhp on an non corrected Mustang Dyno. Probably would make 660ish SAE on a dynojet.

His old head cam 346 put down 450 rwhp and ran 138 mph. This new setup with an additional 150hp has a ton of potential left

If you ask Rob nicely, he just might tell you his cam specs.

Fairly exotic setup. Nothing that couldn't be reproduced if someone had the money. The driving on the other hand, there's alot in the setup that allows him to drive it the way he does. Plus he's got the experience of countless passes.
well then congrats on a very good build.
