Default 799 Heads

Is it worth swapping 853 heads for the 799 heads(same as 243's) on a set up like mine(see signature). My cam is a .602/.610 236/242 lsa 114+4? Hate to go through all that for a few ponies. Any thoughts?

Yup you should see a solid 15-20 hp. Just lap the valves in and check for a good seal. GM valve job is pretty crappy and non-concentric.

I'm willing to bet there's some power to be had with that swap (x2 on 15-20hp). Spend a little bit of $$ for some porting/bowl blending and you'll see even more!
