Default Torquer 2 low torque #'s?

It pulls like a freight train up top and you can see that the HP was still climbing when they shut it down, but what's up with the torque? Is this normal for this cam?

Thats your tranny/converter combo doing that. You can't compare it without locking the converter/tranny in 3rd.

It verifies at the track I won't say it falls on it's face after each shift, but after it shifts there is a slight lag until you get to around 5000 they it really pulls until the next shift. I'm trying to figure out if this cam makes all it's power up top. If so I need ether a bigger stall or a different cam for my setup.

I previously ran the same cam you have, before I went with my current setup.

When I ran that cam, I also thought that it seemed to be more of a 'upper RPM' cam. Seemed to really kick in above 4500-5000 RPM. That cam has a fairly late IVC. You could advance it a couple of degrees and see if that works.

You could always go with a 'custom' cam if that is an option.

Good luck in your search!

My 6-speed cam only SS made 400/370 with that cam, so it's not too far out of line.
