I didn't try. I'd like to try and get my tuner to come down the next time I put it on the dyno and also a boxfan . I'll try some different things and see if I can hit the 500+ mark

I was wondering do you have any 1/8 miles times/mph on just motor? Curious as to what it runs on motor alone. Thanks.

That time is with a 75 shot. Its been 6.94 @ 99.xxmph all motor. We've been playing with the gears and converters and can't seem to get a loose enough converter. So we sprayed just enough to loosen the converter up and ran a 6.68

I hope the Th350 drops the Et some .

My 383 LT1 went 6.70@100 in the 1/8 all motor. I am swapping my 90* elbow and monoblade for a setup like this(4 hole and a carb hat) I hope it picks up. Also got a much looser converter going in. I hope like hell I dont go backwards LMAO!

We are close to the same weight. Your heap runs good!

Thanks, I'm swapping my 4.30's and putting 3.70's back in once I get the TH350. I went from 4.11's to 4.30's and it didn't like that at all. I figured it would love it since I usually only run 1/8th andyway but I was wrong. But then again with the right setup it probably would have worked well.

We might all be going the wrong way with these new intakes and throttle bodies

I've been thinking of a carb. myself

What!? Almost 500 whp through a 9", stalled auto AND LS6 heads!?

IMPOSSIBLE! LS6 heads do not perform like (insert flavor of the week heads)!

Totally kidding buddy! Great job on the build and fantastic results!

Head work wasn't too extensive unless you call your grandpa with a dremel extensive . Just did a little bowl blending and the hump on the intake side was took out as well as the little hump looking thing in the combustion area. Then they were milled .025 should be around 60cc I'm guessing. Grandpa didn't smooth them or anything, they were more of a quick job. I plan on finding a new set of 243's and we'll take more time on them and see if we can get em' on a flow bench. Stock size manley stainless steel valves.

congrats on a very nice combo. your build is very close to my new build and your numbers have me very happy. my heads are 243's with bowl work and a vj, ported super vic, and a 4150 accufab. a custom grind and a pt4000 so we are very similar. i can only hope to make numbers close to yours. congrats again

awesome build man and congrats ...i guess thats wat they mean when they say grandpa knows best..lol. I to am doin a similar setup 370 bottom end i beams instead of h beams wiseco pistons patriot heads milled..unsure how much yet. i wanna get the compression up ther a lil as long as my clearance on the cam allows "ms4" harland sharp rockers victor junior intake....the only thing im gonna do different is carb the thing amd everybody will probably dislike this but im gonna do the distributor conversion also just to see wat kind of numbers i can get ...
