2002 Camaro SS RWHP results???
I was looking over a motortrend article where they put a 2001 Cobra and a 2002 Camaro SS on a chassis dyno to see what they are getting at the rear wheels. Now I have heard bone stock the LS1 F-bodies with a M6 will typically get around 300hp at the rear wheels and the car was under-rated 305hp BHP(98-00).It is actually suppose to be closer to 340HP at the crank. So why did the Camaro SS only produce 268 ponies at the rear wheels.Do the math...that is a high percentage drop.Around a 22% drop in HP through the drivetrain?http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...omparison.html

motortrend is wrong. lol who knows how they got those results. but it really doesnt matter dyno numbers normally annoy people anyways. its more important how the car runs at the track and an stock 01 cobra cant touch a stock 02 SS.
