Default LS2 in 67 camaro results



Stock LS2
Hooker longtubes
APS underdrive pulley
EPS cam
4l60 tranny
3200 Circle D stall
4.10 gears

These numbers are with the converter unlocked. What do you guys think? Car idles and drives great...hoping for 11's at the track!

looks decent .y they stop the pull at 65oorpm??

Pretty darn good considering cam only, unlocked converter and 410's. What's the car weigh and what tire u gonna use?

Considering its a stock LS2 intake I don't think it would have made more power...6300 rpms is usually where they peak. This is a stock bottom end, would spinning it higher be okay?

Car weighs in at 3700 lbs with driver and looking to hook it up on a set of MT ET streets on some 15" wheels. Do you think 11.80's are possible?

YOu can spin it higher but I wouldnt go over 7K. It would be tough to get into the 11s with the ca weighing so much.

Stalled Auto aren't dyno queens!

Your#'s are close to mine and I got 11's first time ever to the track on street tires.

Just asking, but hows a 67 Camaro with a Alum ls2 weigh 3700?? My sbc iron headed 67 weighs 3200 full weight.

exactly what i was about to ask ^^^^^. buddies '67 with ls1 and t56 with heavy *** tt2 and full interior came out to almost 3000 w/o driver

My 68 is under 2900 with ls6 and 5 speed.

Power top, convertable they have a huge cocktail shakers in each corner that are filled with lead and dampening fluid, good for at least 30 lbs each and some solid frame connectors multi leaf springs and the weight starts to get up there, with driver and full tank it's not a far stretch. Not to mention I had a big breakfast!

Awesome numbers for cam only swap,, hats off to the guys at Champion Motors true professionals !!!!!

Would definitely recommend them for LS work, Tuning with them was a great experience no BS with these guys I would not go anywhere else!!

First gen Camaros are lite as hell in comparison to the other gens so I don't know where people get the idea that their heavy. The original poster should be in the 11's with a good 60 ft. I ran 11.92 @114 on a 90 degree day with my stock internal LS2, small 2800 stall and 3.89 gears and an almost 3600 lb race weight!

69's are heavy. My 69 Firebird is at 3700 race weight, 1/2 tank fuel and 200 lbs of me, so no, they are not light.

67 and 68's are lighter than the 69's.
