The cam raises an eyebrow to me, but I'm no expert.

However, IMO It looks like it would definitely be a blast to drive, and reliable as hell! You have no excuse to even flirt 6500rpms. It'd be worth it for sure to get some 1"7/8 headers without cats into a cutout. You'd definitely get more up top. I've owned a Hooker catback, and I'm well confident in saying I bet it's choking that car a bit. Especially with that wide exhaust duration.

I would start looking in the "cam timing area". This cam profile will work in your combo, but seems more suited for a LS3/7/92 headed motor? I would start buy, redegreeing or checking things out there imo.
